"SEO Strategist"

What you'll be doing, day-to-day

  • Analyzing your set of existing client websites (mostly law firms in the US).
  • Working on optimizing client websites and Google Business Profiles to rank higher in search results (maps, local pack, SERPs).
  • Working on generating new leads for clients via Local SEO and conversion rate optimization.
  • Researching keyword opportunities and planning content to be sent out to our content writers.
  • Building authority where needed.
  • Maintaining client websites based on client requests (updating plugins, publishing content, editing pages, etc.)

Mandatory skill set:

  • Demonstrated experience in SEO (Technical, On-page, Off-page).
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SemRush or Ahrefs, and WordPress.
  • HTML, basic WordPress PHP.
  • A Business Growth / Marketing-oriented mindset.
  • A solid understanding of content marketing.
  • Great keyword research skills

Bonus points for experience with:

  • SEO Framework
  • Redirection tools
  • WordPress development
  • WordPress Advanced Custom Fields / Custom Post Types

It’s a small, but fast growing SEO & Digital Marketing Company. The SEO portion of the company is the foundation business, they are growing to chase other opportunities, and members that grow with the small team, will have the ability to move up as they expand the team in Latin America.

They have a separate custom software team that works on larger projects, that team also works on our Automotive eCommerce startup. They will be chasing funding for that in the future, and those employees and contractors that have been with them, will have the ability to move to different businesses as their skill sets expand.
